TheIsleMinimap supports The Isle online play with a private squad for up to four players. Each member can share their latest captured position on the Gateway map, use an individual marker color and coordinate around one shared destination pin. Position markers refresh whenever the app receives fresh Asset Location coordinates—either from a manual click or optional local screen reading.
This is near-real-time sharing based on coordinates you capture while playing. Click Asset Location in the in-game Tab panel for a manual update, or enable the local screen reader so briefly opening Tab can supply the next update automatically. It is not hidden, continuous player tracking.
A The Isle online map for multiplayer with friends
The Isle multiplayer gameplay is about survival, movement and meeting the right players without announcing your location to everyone. TheIsleMinimap keeps that coordination private: one player creates a squad, shares the private code directly, and up to three friends join for four members in total.
While connected, every member can see the latest valid position shared by the squad. Personal marker colors make the four positions easy to separate, optional short names help identify friends, and one shared destination pin gives the group a clear meeting point. Your full movement trail stays on your own computer.
The squad works independently of the game server. You do not need an administrator account, server plugin, RCON access or a special community-server integration. Players with Squad Monthly, Squad Quarterly or Squad Lifetime can use it on supported official and community servers running EVRIMA Gateway.
How position markers update while you play online
TheIsleMinimap does not read game memory, inject code, inspect network packets or search a server for online players. It uses the Asset Location coordinates already displayed to you inside The Isle: EVRIMA. That gives you two clear ways to refresh your position:
- Manual clipboard capture: open the in-game Tab panel and click the displayed Asset Location coordinates. Windows copies them, TheIsleMinimap recognizes the valid position and moves your marker without requiring you to paste anything.
- Automatic local screen reading: after a one-time reading-area setup, briefly open Tab and show the Asset Location panel. The app checks the visible coordinates before moving your marker.
If you are in a private squad, the newly captured position is shared automatically while you remain connected. Repeated coordinates are not presented as new movement, and the app never invents a path between updates. Your friends see the latest shared position—not a hidden live feed from the game.
Manual Asset Location updates: click once, no paste needed
The manual workflow is useful when you want direct control over every update. Open Tab, find Asset Location and click its coordinates. The clipboard change is handled locally, so the marker can refresh immediately after a valid coordinate is detected.
You can do this whenever your squad needs a new location: after crossing a river, reaching a landmark, changing direction or approaching the shared pin. The Asset Location coordinate guide explains the complete clipboard workflow and supported coordinate safeguards.
Faster updates when you already open Tab
Many players open Tab during a normal The Isle online session. With automatic Asset Location reading enabled, that familiar action can also refresh your map position. You do not have to click the coordinates each time: show the selected panel in the foreground game, and the app reads that small region locally.
The reader checks the visible coordinates before updating your marker. Captured screen content stays on your computer and is not uploaded. You choose the reading area, can disable the feature at any time, and can always return to the manual clipboard method.
You do not need to keep Tab open continuously. Open it briefly whenever you want to provide a fresh position. Windowed or borderless fullscreen is recommended because true exclusive fullscreen can hide normal Windows overlays and interfere with visible screen capture.
What can your multiplayer squad see?
A private squad is deliberately limited. Members can see the current online membership, each connected member's latest shared Gateway position, their chosen color and optional short name, plus one shared destination pin. They do not receive your screen capture, clipboard contents, complete movement trail or unrelated computer activity.
TheIsleMinimap also does not reveal every player on The Isle multiplayer servers. It only shows positions supplied by people who intentionally joined the same private squad and captured their own Asset Location coordinates.
How to use The Isle multiplayer map with friends
- Each player opens TheIsleMinimap and launches The Isle: EVRIMA on Gateway.
- One player with a Squad plan creates a private squad and sends the generated code directly to friends.
- Up to three friends join with that code, then choose an available marker color and optional short name.
- Each player captures Asset Location manually or enables the optional local reader.
- Use the colored positions and shared destination pin to meet, regroup or plan the next route.
The private squad guide covers every squad control, and the complete app tutorial shows the current screens for coordinate setup, map layers, Quick Access and squad settings.
The Isle online and multiplayer map FAQ
Is The Isle an online multiplayer game?
Yes. The Isle: EVRIMA is played online on official or community servers. TheIsleMinimap is a separate Windows companion that helps you navigate the supported Gateway map while playing.
How can I find friends in The Isle multiplayer?
Create a private TheIsleMinimap squad, invite up to three friends, and capture fresh Asset Location coordinates. Your colored position markers and one shared pin make it easier to choose a meeting point on Gateway.
Do squad positions update in real time?
They update in near real time whenever a member supplies a fresh valid coordinate. That happens after clicking Asset Location or after the optional local reader confirms the visible panel. The app does not silently track movement between captured coordinates.
Do I need to keep the Tab panel open?
No. With local screen reading enabled, briefly open Tab whenever you want a fresh update. For manual capture, open Tab and click the Asset Location coordinates once.
Can this map show all online players?
No. It is not a public The Isle online player tracker. Only invited members of the same private squad can share their own latest positions with one another.
Does it work on official and community multiplayer servers?
Yes, when the session uses the supported The Isle: EVRIMA Gateway map. No server-side installation is required.
Compare Squad Monthly, Squad Quarterly and Squad Lifetime for private squads of up to four players, live shared positions and one shared destination pin.
